Your private terrace gives you a magnificent view of the vineyards and the Du Toits Kloof Mountains. We welcome you and your children to enjoy the hospitality of our estate, relax at the pool and jacuzzi and have a glass of wine
Discover our working wine farm, established in 1698, absorb the ancient atmosphere of a time gone by and understand why our ancestors fell in love with this beautiful part of Africa.
On the farm we find 3500 fruit trees which are being hand-picked from March until September on a daily basis and in January and February the delicate wines are harvested.
We find nice Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cape-Riesling on the farm and when asked for, every visitor gets to attend a private tour by the farmer and if one whishes one gets to ride a tractor or quad. Recently, the owners have started with planting Giant Bamboo on the farm for commercial purposes and between 6-12 laborers work daily on the farm.
Most people really like the peace and quietness on the farm and as we see many bird and animal live around the premises, animal and bird lovers will not be disappointed.
Clients arriving from Amsterdam via Cape Town in the late evening can use our airport service on request at 800 rand per fair. A rental car could be organized the next morning at the farm by either the client or by us on request.
