Description:
Located in Welbedacht Lane 5km from Knysna on the western approach road.
Badger's Lodge is a guesthouse in Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route in South Africa.
Knysna is a charming village, placed on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indic Ocean and surrounded by one of the largest remaining Southern African rain forests.
The Lagoon is seperated from the sea by two sandstone cliffs, the Knysna Heads.
Badger's Lodge is situated close to the Lagoon and about
2.5 km out of Knysna's enchanting town centre and the picturesque waterfront.
We accommodate our guests in African style rondavels, set in a large tranquil garden, which offer two ensuite double rooms, one ensuite twin room and one ensuite family room.
A veranda and a sundeck with views over the valley and the forest as well as the sparkling pool invite to relax or to enjoy the abundant bird life.
All guestrooms are leading into the garden and are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and heater.
The main building with a high thatched ceiling and an open log fireplace houses the charming breakfast and dining room. A private bar is available for the guests.
We serve a hearty English/ Continental breakfast buffet inside or outside.
Timber cottage, set in the garden, offers 2 self-catering units - semidetached.
Each unit accommodates up to four people. It is fully equipped and consists of two double rooms, one bathroom with shower, kitchen, lounge and veranda with braai facilities.
Chalet offers privacy for two people, ideal for honeymooners.
It has one bedroom, bathroom with shower and full bath, kitchen, lounge and veranda with braai and is also fully equipped for self-catering.
