Indlovu River Lodge is located on the banks of the Kuvjename’ River in the heart of the 9000ha Karongwe Private game reserve, home of the big five.

The three self-contained chalets stand tall and strong, as proud as the celebrated Kruger Park "great tusker" elephants after which they have been named.
Shingwedzi, Shawu and Kambaku offer unique privacy... your luxury family safari in the African bush.
Shingwedzi:
This chalet sleeps four in the main house in two fantastic en-suite rooms. A further two people can be accommodated in a secluded annex across the court yard. Timber veranda and ideal plunge pool provide idyllic vantage points to survey the river while resting the mind, body and soul.
Shawu:
This chalet sleeps four in two en-suite bedrooms and is attached to a hall incorporating a bar,and entertainment room.
A boma, gazebo on the riverbank and private swimming pool ensures an unforgettable stay.
Kambaku:
This chalet is the largest of the three, sleeping nine people in three en-suite double rooms on the ground floor, and one further double and a single on the first floor.
Equipped with a beautiful large rock pool, a boma and a trampoline, Kambaku is an ideal family home.
Due to our unique layout we offer the ideal venue for a family safari in a big 5 reserve.
Although self-catering we offer a fully inclusive product which includes two meals and two game drives in an open landrover.
Our self catering option includes a grocery list where the guest can select his or her food and beverages from our website.
A babysitting facility is available and must be arranged when booking.
Both the Kruger Park and the Panorama Route are a mere 45 minutes away.
